A Beginning Based on Health
My name is A. Leigh McBride, DVM and have been practicing Veterinary medicine since 1984 with special interest in performance animals. I began showing dogs in AKC conformation in 1988, have shown all breeds and finished the championships on everything from a Yorkshire Terrier to an English Mastiff.
I taught the two-day Anatomy and Movement seminar for the Senior Conformation Judges Association for five years.
These experiences gave me a lot of insight into the proper structure and movement of a working dog which I have used in my breeding program to improve the quality of my Dobermans.
I strive to also maintain the highest standard in health testing for both longevity and soundness. My breeding program is designed to continue to produce better show dogs for myself and super pets for those people acquiring one of my dogs. |
